Internal Copywriter – ZZP

Introduction

We are looking for an Internal Copywriter for our client! As an Internal Copywriter, you will create, develop, distribute, and implement content across various internal channels. This means you’ll focus on engagement through channels like email, newsletters, and the intranet, as well as the frequency of these communications. Does this sound like something you’d enjoy? Position

As our Internal Copywriter, you will create, utilize, repurpose, and implement high-quality content for Wolters Kluwer’s internal channels, with a focus on Viva Engage, email, and various newsletters. Additionally, you will assist in crafting leadership messages for the Board of Directors, including quarterly reports, and collaborate with the Global Employee Communications team, focusing on employee engagement and the socialization of internal communication programs and initiatives. You will maintain the integrated company-wide content calendar and content workflow, based on company news and key themes and topics. You will work closely with the design team on graphics, images, video, and podcasts, and create briefings when necessary. Finally, you will submit ROI statistics for evaluation reports and share recommendations for improvement.

Competences

  • You are an excellent writer with the ability to write on various topics for different audiences.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree (a master’s degree is a plus) in (digital) communication, journalism, marketing, multimedia, IT, or a related field.
  • You have approximately 7+ years of experience in internal communications and employee engagement within international/matrix organizations.
  • You possess strong stakeholder management skills.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in (American) English. Native English proficiency is required, and being able to speak and write in Dutch is a plus.
  • You can manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously and work well under pressure while keeping timelines in check.
  • You enjoy proofreading and editing various written and visual content before it goes into production and can correct any (language) errors.
  • You can handle confidential information from companies, departments, and business units.
  • You have experience working with tools like Microsoft Viva, PoliteMail, SharePoint, and Connect.
